Mount Carmel College of Nursing was named as the Best Value College in Ohio by popular college search website Niche, and ranks in the top 100 top value colleges nationwide out of over 4,000 colleges ranked.
According to a press release from Niche, their ranking included new factors for 2023 — sourced from the US Department of Education, American Community Survey (ACS), and Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) — include Average Return on Investment by age 30, Median earnings one year after graduation, percent of graduates employed two years after graduation, year-over-year Difference between 1st and 2nd Year Earnings and more.
Mount Carmel College of Nursing took the No. 1 spot because after a net price of $14,454 per year, median earnings for students six years after graduation were $57,700 per year. Net price refers to the average cost after financial aid, grants and scholarships.
Niche added in their release that these rankings are a measurement that will "only become more important as students and parents more closely evaluate a school's potential return on investment...as students make one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.”
