SDAP Admission Requirements

  1. Completion of a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution†
  2. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is recommended (not required)
  3. Successful completion of all prerequisite course work, with a grade of "C" or better. A ‘C-’ will not be accepted. Science courses do not expire.

    • Human Anatomy & Physiology I/Human Anatomy & Physiology II
    • Human Growth & Development
    • Microbiology
    • Organic Biochemistry

    To be considered for admission, applicants must have at least three prerequisites completed.

  4. TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (new internet-based) for students whose native language is not English

All students should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov) (FAFSA). Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN) uses your FAFSA information to determine eligibility for federal, state and institutional aid. The FAFSA should be completed as soon as possible beginning every October 1st. MCCN’s priority filing deadline is March 15th.
