After you have been accepted to Mount Carmel College of Nursing, please submit your $100 confirmation deposit. This confirms your spot in the program and is credited toward first-semester tuition.
Register for Orientation
Orientation is required for all new MCCN students, and we offer a variety of dates for you to choose from. You will register online for MCCN orientation and select your preferred date.
Complete your FAFSA
If you wish to apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); you are strongly encouraged to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. MCCN’s school code is 030719. The MCCN Financial Aid Office will forward you a notification of financial aid eligibility upon receipt of your completed FAFSA. If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 614-234-1842.
Submit Final Transcripts
No later than the first day of classes, students must submit updated, official transcripts that include final grades for any in-progress courses. Electronic transcript delivery is preferred, using admissions@mccn.edu as the recipient.
Register for Take Flight
New Nightingales need to register for Take Flight, which prepares you for the rigors of nursing, and helps you make new friends. Take Flight is held the week prior to classes beginning.
Take Flight will be held on August 11 & 12 for new, incoming Fall 2025 students.
TEAS Test
First-time freshmen (not transfers) are required to take the ATI-TEAS test. The results of this test will not affect your admission decision. You’ll receive more information about registering for the TEAS test via email over the summer.

Complete and submit the form linked in your acceptance letter to confirm your seat in the program.

This will be available to you 3-5 business days* after you confirm.

- Select the Records and Registration page.
- Scroll down to the Course Schedules portlet. Students must first access the Registration Agreement before they can proceed to register for classes.
* If you have confirmed your seat two or more sessions in advance, the following steps will not yet be available to you. Please be patient, bookmark this page, and return closer to your start date.
Log in to your MCCN student accounts
1-2 weeks before your session begins you’ll receive an email at your personal email account from HelpLine with your mccn.edu address and a prompt to set a password. Contact helpline@mccn.edu if you need assistance.
A few days later, check your student email for login information and directions for accessing Project Concert and Canvas.
