The following activities, organized by local regional groups, took place earlier this year:

On Feb. 19, a Florida Alumni Lunch was held in Fort Myers.

Front row (from left): Mary Lou Jones Yaufman ’58, Carolyn Kulp Souders ’58; back row: Christy Stare Coleman '63, Judy Rebhan Borowitz '63, Bess Eckard Whittington '58 and Nerina Beverly Stepanovsky ’78 and her husband.

Members of the class of '58 organize the annual gathering, with Bess visiting Fort Myers annually as a "snow bird" from Columbus and Mary Lou and Carolyn living in that area year round. Christy lives in Geneseo, Illinois, and Judy in Westerville, Ohio, and they both spend part of the winter in the Fort Myers area.

Several thousand miles away, a group of graduates met on March 20 in Phoenix, where organizer Pat Brown Gates said the group was "glad for the opportunity to revisit our MCSON years" while hoping to see more of the three dozen Mount Carmel graduates who now call Arizona home. Looking ahead, the Annual Alumni Association Homecoming is planned for Oct. 5. Check http://www.mccn.edu/alumni/alumni-news for more information.

Left to right: Pat Brown Gates '63, Gene Winters Coleman '65, and husband Tom Coleman, Ruth Mathers Strickler ’52, and Barbara Steckler Berle ’61.
