Thanks to Dorothy Gorenflo Cluff, a 1942 graduate of Mount Carmel School of Nursing, the Mount Carmel Alumni Association has yet another beautiful quilt to raise funds for the Alumni Association Scholarship and – for current studnets – the Loan Fund.
For the eighth year in a row, Dorothy has hand-stitched and donated a beautiful quilt. This year’s quilt measures approximately 89" x 104" and fits either a double- or queen-sized bed. A deep purple floral motif provides a stunning contrast to the lightly patterned, off-white background. The appliqué features deep green leaves that set off each quad of flowers. It’s machine washable; special instructions included.
To participate in the raffle, purchase your tickets at the front desk of the College or by mail from September 1 through October 10. The cost is $15 for 12 chances. Send your cash raffle and quilt raffle tickets (with or without a luncheon reservation) with a check by October 7 to: Michele Born, Mount Carmel College of Nursing, 127 South Davis Avenue, Columbus, OH 43222. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday, October 11, during the 2014 Annual Alumni Association Homecoming, at the High Tea Luncheon. Please contact the Alumni Office, (614) 234-5681, if you have not received your invitation to this special event by September 6.
