What inspired you to become a nurse?

When I became a medical assistant, the nurses I worked with amazed me. I quickly learned that they were the bridge between doctors and patients. This profession coincides with my enjoyment of helping others.

What is the best thing about Mount Carmel College of Nursing?

My classmates and many of my professors form a close-knit community of learners, and we truly support one another. Every semester comes with its challenges, and having supportive classmates and instructors has made this journey enjoyable.

What are your goals for your nursing career?

My main goal as a nurse is to help others. I want to be the best I can be in any situation in my nursing career. If I can positively impact one person at a time, then I have succeeded.

What advice would you give your younger self?

No matter what comes your way, it is still possible to achieve your goals.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career in nursing?

Give yourself grace! Nursing is a journey filled with various challenges and rewarding moments, but in the end, it truly is worth it.
