What inspired you to become a nurse?

Growing up, I always had a calling for helping and caring for others. I knew I wanted to continue caring for others as a career. Nursing allows you to make a difference in your patient's life, which is so rewarding. I absolutely love the nursing field and cannot wait to become one soon!

What is the best thing about Mount Carmel College of Nursing?

I have met so many amazing classmates, professors, and clinical staff. Each person has been more than supportive and is always there to catch me when I fall. The atmosphere is truly encouraging and motivating.

What are your goals for your nursing career?

I have goals of going into pediatric nursing at Nationwide Children's Hospital after I graduate. I want to get experience there and eventually go back to school to get my MSN and specialize in pediatrics as well!

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to not doubt my capabilities. Always stay true to yourself and never be afraid to ask questions. Be kind and caring towards others, kindness goes a long way.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career in nursing?

Surround yourself with continuous support, take one day at a time, and pray always! God is so good, and He gave you the calling of nursing for a reason!
