What inspired you to become a nurse?

I was inspired by the excellent care I received while having my oldest daughter. I wanted to help other women have the best labor and delivery experience possible, too. I worked hard and, after graduating with my BSN, got a job at the same hospital where I was inspired to go back to school and become a labor and delivery nurse!

What is the best thing about Mount Carmel College of Nursing?

The professors are always available and are always very supporting. They really care about your success and will always try their best to help you succeed.

What are your goals for your nursing career?

I have a strong love for women's health so I could see myself staying in women's health after graduation with my FNP.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would have just told myself to keep trying my best because I was going to end up exactly where I wanted to be.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career in nursing?

It’s going to be hard going through school and working as a new grad. If you are really passionate about nursing and believe in yourself, then you’re going to do great things!
