Jill Kilanowski, PhD, RN, APRN, CPNP, FAAN, joined MCCN earlier this year as associate dean for Graduate Nursing Programs. A certified nurse practitioner, nurse scientist and educator, Dr. Kilanowski is responsible for overseeing the master’s degree program, as well as the new online Doctor of Nursing Practice degree program, which began this academic year with a cohort of six students.
Dr. Kilanowski brings to MCCN nearly two decades in nursing education at various institutions, including Michigan State University, Case Western Reserve University and The Ohio State University, among others. She is a past president of the Ohio chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and serves on its research committee. Her research interests focus on the health of children and families of migrant agricultural workers. She earned her PhD from The Ohio State University and both a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Columbia University in New York.
