I can’t live without… iced lattes.

If I could spend the day with one person, it would be… Temple Grandin. She has given a voice to those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and has been a great resource for the Autism community.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to… Berlin, Germany.

When I have down time, I… sit on my couch in my pajamas and catch up on episodes of The Blacklist.

My favorite movie is… Real Steel. I had to watch it many times when my children were younger and I can still quote most of the movie.

The quote I tend to live by is… ”Assume goodness in intentions”. I first heard this in my MCHS orientation a few years ago and now live by it daily.

I am a nurse educator because… I love seeing the growth of the students throughout the year.

The best advice I could give to incoming freshmen is… to ask for help when they need it. The instructors want to see the students succeed, and are more than willing to help the student when they have questions or need assistance.

One thing you may not know about me is… I have 6 siblings, and we are all in a helping profession. Of the seven of us, there are 2 RNs, 2 teachers, 2 active in the Army, and a Fire Chief.
