I can’t live without… coffee in the morning!
If I could spend the day with one person it would be… My dad. He passed away when I was young. I don’t really remember him. I would love to see what he was like.
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to… Italy. I want to visit Vatican City. However, traveling anywhere with my family, making memories is what I enjoy the most.
When I have down time, I… down time…what’s that??
My favorite movie is… Bridges of Madison County
The quote I tend to live by is… I have a few: “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one”, “Live life to the fullest with no regrets” and “We’re all just walking each other home”
I am a nurse educator because… I love helping students have that “light bulb” moment. My favorite teaching moments are seeing the learning on their faces - the “ah, I get it” facial expressions… it is priceless! Being a nurse educator is combining the best of two worlds: nursing and educating.
The best advice I could give to incoming freshmen is… Understand nursing school isn’t easy! It takes hard work & dedication to be successful but is 100% worth it!
