Four MCCN students, (left to right) Kendra Pierce, Kasey Derexson, Katharine Wiet and Abigail Gulley, attended the International Medical Missions Conference in May along with assistant professor Hannah O’Handley, MSN, RN, FNP and her husband, Jack O’Handley, MD. The student group listened to world missioners’ experiences and participated in many classes including assessment, suturing and global health conditions. The conference theme was Evidence-Based Practice Behind Medical Missions.
