Brock Newman, an MCCN-FMC sophomore working as a patient care assistant at Mount Carmel East received a Guardian Angel Award in September for his exceptional work with patients. The award was given by a former patient who said, “Brock will make a difference as he grows, because he enjoys what he does and makes the extra effort.” In addition to the award, the patient made a donation to the Nursing Advancement Education fund.
