This summer has been full of activity and excitement at MCCN! In case you missed it, here is a re-cap:

  • On Friday, June 2, 35 Advanced Placement Program students received their sophomore pins and began clinical rotation.
  • Jennifer Saffell, MSN, FNP-BC, assistant professor, won a party catered by Schmidt’s and was interviewed by WBNS 10TV’s Dom Tiberi on Tuesday, June 13. Mrs. Saffell was nominated by Jill Beavers-Kirby, DNP, ACNP-BC, for going above and beyond in her work.
  • On Tuesday, July 11, we welcomed our new interim President, Dr. Ann Marie Brooks! Students, faculty and staff enjoyed coffee and snacks with Dr. Brooks on July 12 at a special reception.
  • Dr. Brooks hosted a social on Tuesday, July 25, to celebrate National Hot Fudge Sundae Day. Students, faculty and staff built their own sundaes.
