Hometown: Alliance, Ohio.
Alma Mater: OSU and Case Western Reserve University
I can’t live without: The usual – chocolate.
If I could spend the day with one person it would be: Pope Francis.
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to: Croatia.
When I have down time, I: Get outside and move.
My favorite movie is: The Sound of Music.
The quote I tend to live by is: “God doesn’t require us to succeed, he only requires that you try.”
I am a nurse educator because: It fit my family schedule better than being an NP, and now I’m hooked, and amazed at how you can exponentially impact the future of nursing.
The best advice I could give to incoming freshmen is: Connect with your classmates and form study groups to support each other throughout your nursing education.
One thing you may not know about me is: I lived in Budapest, Hungary for two years and was a part-time US Embassy nurse.
