Your Voice Matters… So We Listen!
Your Library wants to hear from YOU! Look for an invitation to fill out a VERY SHORT survey, evaluating Library resources, services and space. The survey will be launched at noon on Tuesday, April 3 with a Cookies & Milk event, and will be open for two weeks. Stop by the Library Circulation Desk or College Front Desk to pick up a special token of appreciation from Your Library and watch the Library website for further details.
Library Staff Visiting MCCN@FMC
Your Library staff will visit MCCN@FMC students on Monday, April 9. We will bring you fresh baked cookies and milk and answer any questions you have for Your Librarians. Also, we will have Lucky Charm #2 pencils for your exams. Can't wait to see you!
Food for Fines
The popular Food for Fines program returns just in time for graduation. From April 2 to May 11, bring your food to the Library between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Remember, one food item equals $3.00 of forgiven fines, up to $30. Only non-perishable food items are accepted – e.g. ramen noodles, canned soup, and boxed cereal. All Food for Fines donations go to the student food pantry.
Recognizing Graduates
Congratulations and thank you to our graduating Library student worker Taylor O'Dell. Taylor started at the Library during her freshman year at MCCN. She was always willing to help students, faculty and staff and quick with a smile. The Library staff wishes you all the best, Taylor! Congratulations to the whole Class of 2018!!
Renovation of Study Room 307
Plans are in development to transform Study Room 307 into two smaller study rooms, a private Head-to-Toe practice exam space as well as Creative Station poster area. Stay tuned!
