SNAM is sponsoring Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone), a community-based overdose education and naloxone distribution program. Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an opioid drug. Through this program, Project DAWN will provide Narcan kits free of charge to individuals who may be at risk or know someone at risk of experiencing an overdose. MCCN students, faculty and staff are invited to a Lunch and Learn on Monday, November 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m., to learn more.
