What inspired you to become a nurse?
I had a mentor once tell me, “Find a job you’re passionate about and you will never have to work a day in your life." Growing up in a Christian household and becoming a person of faith, my passion is to serve people, and as an RN I get to do that.
What is the best thing about Mount Carmel College of Nursing?
Mount Carmel has great teachers, clinical instructors, and opportunities.
What are your goals for your nursing career?
My goals are to be a well-rounded nurse and to always help others to the best of my ability.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Remember your “why” behind your choices and don’t lose sight of the main goal.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in nursing?
If you care about people and like to help others, this is the job, and you will make it through school. But in my opinion, money alone isn’t enough motivation to study this much!
