I can’t live without: God.
If I could spend the day with one person it would be: My husband.
If I could travel anywhere, I would visit: Canada.
When I have down time, I: love watching a great movie.
My favorite movie is: I have several. These movies tell the story of triumph, overcoming tremendous challenges and/or obstacles; they are stories of hope and victory. Examples include “GI Jane,” “Secretariat,” “Cinderella Man,” “Rudy,” and “Hidden Figures.”
The quote I tend to live by is: “Nah, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us,” (Romans 8:37).
I am a nurse educator because: It is my calling to be a teacher.
The best advice I could give to incoming freshmen is: Be honest, work hard, be open to learn from others, and be true to that which is right and good.
One thing you may not know about me is: I am a great cook.
